Sunseeker Presents: Returning to each other
The last Sunseeker installment at Webers will teach you how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone.
Following the training we will talk about how we use these tools to "return" to each other and exist in communities of care, love and sovereignty.

Open Mic
Join us on Wednesday, June 19th for a powerful evening of spoken word, music, and community in honor of Juneteenth at Webers.
We’re opening the mic to voices of all ages to share poems, songs, stories, and reflections. Whether you’re performing or just coming to listen and support, we welcome you with open arms and open hearts.
Light snacks will be provided, but no alcohol will be permitted. Soak in the energy of the greenhouse, and be part of a space where creativity and community bloom.

Fists, Flowers, and Fables: Eco Poetry as Resistence

Using poetry that explores themes such as social justice, womanism, and love, participants will learn about the significant & complex relationships between Black and Brown communities and Mother Nature.
Additionally, poets will create eco-poems to reclaim the joy and power in writing about flowers, even in our current political climate

Paint and Plant! Hosted by our Horticulture Teens!
A lesson to teach the youth about the subject of horticulture--specifically transplanting and specified plant care along with a free plant giveaway and pot-painting
The event is for youth (21 and younger).

Sunseeker presents: Keeping Each Other Safe (part 3)
Stop the bleed!
The next event in the four part "Beloved Community" series will be a training on preventable deaths from trauma. Sunseeker comrades provide training, equipment, and resources to individuals and communities to promote public knowledge and skills in addressing uncontrolled bleeding, a significant factor in preventable deaths from trauma. We'll have training Tourniquets to the first 5 Black community members that RSVP and show up to Webers!

Our marketing team will be offering free portraits to our customers! The greenhouses will be bright and colorful, making a unique setting for an individual, couple, or family photo!
