Carletta
My name is Carletta, I attend Tenor Journal square, and I graduate in 2027. I Look forward to learning more about gardening and how different plants thrive in different environments. I love cherry blossom trees, and all flowers. I am an athlete who plays volleyball, basketball and run track. I also love arts and crafts such as crocheting and painting. In the future I plan on going to college to study for pre med, specifically to become an anesthesiologist. My goals for this year is to save up for a car and focus on my studies for scholarships. I am excited to be a Horticultural apprentice for Webers and can’t wait to see what the future holds for me.

My name is Amanda and I'm a second year apprentice here at webers! I graduate in 2027 and I plan to go to college to become a sonagrapher. My interests are diamond painting, volleyball, and planting. I look forward to helping customers when we open in May and working in the retail greenhouse. A memory I have here working in the greenhouse is being able to connect with everyone that walks into the greenhouse, and connecting with my co-workers everyday.

Hi my name is Taven and I am a Horticulture Apprentice. I am looking forward to learning about new plants, different kinds of soils, and the types of flowers that are out there. My hobbies include basketball, being outside, and watching movies. My future career goal is to be a landscaper and attend college programs.

My name is Jenaiah Lyle, i look forward to growing plants and also becoming more educated on horticulture. My hobbies are organization work i enjoy public speaking and organization work. I work for 2 organizations, The African American Roundtable and TeensGrowGreens. I have many interests but to name a few are track and social media, and planting. I plan on attending a hbcu college, and being rich and successful in the future.

My name is Kyia and I am in class of 2029 at Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy High School. My career plans are to become an OBGYN. My hobbies are cooking, baking, babysitting, and being around my friends. I look forward to learning new things and having new experiences.

My name is Breasia and I am a third year horticultural apprentice! I plan to become a vet tech, and then become a veterinarian in the future. Animals and baking remain my favorite interest, so if animal science doesn’t work out, I’d be more than happy to become a baker! My favorite flower is the Electric Blue Spider Lily, while my favorite plant to grow are pothos plants. I currently attend an agriculture school designed to help me achieve my dream for life. My goals for this year are to save up for college and independent life, as I’ve gotten older and it’s around that time. hope to enjoy the coming years of Webers, even when I no longer work here!

My name is Cory and I’m a 2nd year Horticulture Apprentice! I’m looking forward to comfortably leading the 1st year apprentices and making connections with them better then before! I like to be outside, mainly going for walks and enjoying my surroundings and the weather (when it’s warm). I mainly like to read nowadays and I try to write at least twice a week! I also enjoy playing sports and games whenever I can! I’m graduating in June and I’ll be attending UW-Milwaukee in the fall for a degree in Computer Science. My goal is to one day create something digitally that lots of people can enjoy!

Hi, my name is Marwo! I love taking care of others and exploring different cultures. My hobbies include cooking, cleaning, and making new friends. While working with the horticulture teams I look forward to learning more about methods of planting and event planning. In the future I hope to travel and get my bachelors degree in radiologic technology.

Hi! My name is Christina. I look forward to learning more about plants. I look forward to learning about different ways I can help the environment. I'm mostly looking forward to ways to help expand my knowledge on planting, seeding, and keeping my plants alive. My hobbies are reading, drawing, playing in orchestra and going to the park. I'm very interested in learning and having enough alone time. I go to UWM for conservation science, but I would like to move to MATC for environmental science.

Hi my name is Eva! I attend Pius XI Catholic High School and am currently a Junior. I’m a first year horticultural apprentice and was a north-side garden intern last year at Westlawn. I’m most excited to start working the counter and helping customers with their needs here at Weber’s! In my free time, I love to do arts & crafts, read, write short stories, and sing. When I graduate from High School I aim to double major in film and Environmental Preservation at UWM. From there, I hope to become a director, pursue a career with TGG, or even both! Nothings impossible.
